I would like to encourage everyone to submit their case for review at the MBAA conference March 23 -25. I realize the uncertainty of travel at this point because of Covid, but I would like to remind everyone that Case presentations will also be available via Zoom. This is an excellent opportunity. I hope that conditions change by March so that we are more comfortable traveling, but I recognize how cautious we all must be during this period. The deadline for submission as advertised by the MBAA is January 7, but the Society of Case Research has extended the deadline for case submissions to February 1.
The Call for Papers, which provides
submission guidelines, deadlines, and contact information for your participation at the 58th-anniversary conference can be viewed here.
I would also like to express my enthusiasm for a guest speaker who is scheduled for the SCR meetings, Stephanie M. Bryant, Ph. D., the Executive Vice President, and Global Chief Accreditation Officer. She supports case writing and is speaking and sharing her views throughout the AACSB organization. Rockhurst has changed its view on Case writing because of the position taken by Stephanie. Case writing was considered second or third tier here at Rockhurst, but now it is considered one of the preferred types of research. This has certainly been an excellent change in
support of case writing at my university.
